Detroit vs Seattle
Atlanta, GA
Today the Detroit Women faced off against Seattle in the Elite 8 round of Playoffs. Both teams started the game with a lot of intensity, with Seattle scoring the first try of the game with a successful conversion. Detroit was able to come from behind and score several times to take the lead. Seattle scored again but could not come back against Detroit. We are ready to represent the D again tomorrow. Thanks to all of the fans who traveled to Atlanta to support Detroit!
Final Score: Detroit 37 – Seattle 12
Detroit moves on to the Final Four against Atlanta tomorrow at 3PM. ORSU and Philadelphia are the other two teams fighting to advance to the Championship match in Fort Meyers, FL on November 9-11, 2012.
